The company processing wood and manufacturing pallets was established by Mr. Anton Jendrol Senior in the year 1992. It employed 3 persons. In the year 1994 the cooperation with the company IKEA began. The company developed progressively. It bought a pallet saw for Euro Pallets repairs to cooperate with a near cement factory.
Over the years the company has changed its names: Drevostav, Slovpalet, etc. Since the year 2005 the company has been named Drevopal, s.r.o. It is a private company fully owned by Mr. Róbert Jendrol.
We have been conforming the IWAY standard and since the year 2006 also the 4SIP. Our main aim is manufacturing quality. We received only 2 complaints in the past two years.
Currently we have about 120 employees working in 3 shifts 6 days a week. The company has been still in progress and our investments have exceeded SKK 30 million. It enabled us to make the production more effective that becomes evident in the quality increase along with the decrease in a pallet price.
The investments enabled us not only to speed up the production, but also to build a storage area and sanitary facilities for employees. The total storage area is about 1,500 m2.
Our pallets are sent to more than 130 points of destination located in Europe, Russia, the USA, and China.
The company Drevopal s.r.o. has more than a 15-year tradition in the field of wooden pallets manufacturing and repair. Nowadays we produce three types of pallets, mainly the Euro Pallets. The pallets production is realized by means of nail automatic machines guaranteeing required accuracy of material putting as well as stability of nail pattern. The whole production process follows internal regulations and operating procedures, is documented and assessed. Production doses for each working shift are subject to controls, of which records are kept. Our company employs more than 80 workers attending required trainings and courses regularly.
The capacity of the company production at the present time (converted to the Euro Pallets, because the capacity of various types is different) represents 750,000 pieces per year.
The company Drevopal s.r.o. holds all required authorisations, permits and registrations that we support in appendices.
Material used in manufacturing is of our own sawing - about 60% and of purchasing of already sawn and dimension timber from reputable sawmills - about 40%.
In our production a procedure to settle the provenance of wood is applied to prove, in such way, its origin as far as the timber harvesting locality and to prevent processing of wood coming from illegal logging or from protected territories.
The Drevopal s.r.o. is a sound company paying regularly all imposed levies and taxes that we may prove at request.
